Pinch

Terms of Service

Last updated 21 September 2026. Pinch is in invited beta.

1. What Pinch is

You describe something to play. Pinch builds it, checks that it runs, and gives you a link. Pinch is early software offered free of charge during an invited beta. There is no paid plan, and we do not take payment from you.

2. Who may use it

You must be 18 or older. While Pinch is in beta, access is by invitation. Pinch is not offered to children, and we ask you not to create an account for anyone under 18. If we learn an account belongs to someone under 18 we will close it and delete what it holds.

3. Your account

You sign in with an email code (and, where we offer it, with Google). You choose a handle, which is public and appears in the links you share. Keep your sign-in to yourself; you are responsible for what is done through your account. You may stop using Pinch at any time, and you can ask us to close your account and remove what it holds (see the Privacy Policy).

4. What you make

You own what you make. Your prompts are yours, and as between you and Pinch, the Playables you create are yours.

To run Pinch we need permission to handle them: you grant us a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to store, reproduce, adapt and publicly display your prompts and Playables for the purpose of operating, securing and improving the service, and — for anything you publish — to serve it to the people you share the link with. The licence lasts as long as we host the work, and ends for future use when you delete it. We do not sell your work and we do not use it in advertising.

What we cannot promise. Playables are generated by AI models. Nobody can guarantee that AI output is original, that it can be protected by copyright, or that it does not resemble something that already exists. We make no such promise, and you should not rely on one.

5. Rules

Do not use Pinch to make or publish anything that:

Do not attempt to break the sandbox a Playable runs in, reach systems or data you were not given, work around usage limits or the invite, or automate creation at volume.

6. Moderation

Anyone can report a published Playable. We may hide or remove a Playable, and suspend or close an account, when we believe these terms have been broken — and we may do so without notice where the harm is serious. If you think we got it wrong, write to us and a person will look again.

Copyright complaints

If you believe something on Pinch infringes your copyright, send a notice to our copyright agent at support@pinch.gg. To be valid it needs:

We will remove or disable what a valid notice identifies and tell the person who made it. If that is you and you believe the removal was a mistake, you may send a counter-notice to the same address with your contact details, the link that was removed, a statement under penalty of perjury that it was removed by mistake or misidentification, your consent to the jurisdiction of the federal court for your address, and your signature. We may then restore it unless the complainant goes to court. We close the accounts of people who infringe repeatedly.

7. This is a beta

Pinch is provided as is, without warranties of any kind. It may be unavailable, it may behave unexpectedly, a creation may fail, and data may be lost. Keep your own copy of anything you would be sorry to lose. We may change, suspend or end the service, or any part of it, at any time. If we end it, we will give you reasonable notice and a chance to take your work with you where we can.

8. Liability

To the fullest extent the law allows, Pinch is not liable for indirect, incidental or consequential loss, for lost data, or for lost profits or goodwill. Nothing here excludes liability that cannot lawfully be excluded, including for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or for fraud.

9. Changes

We may update these terms. If a change matters, we will say so on this page and, where we can reach you, by email. Continuing to use Pinch after a change means you accept it.
